L.A. Developers to Build Mixed-Use Project in Valley Village

A pair of Los Angeles developers are constructing a contemporarily packaged mixed-use building in Valley Village featuring 19 apartments and ground-floor retail, Urbanize.LA reported.

Hillock Land Co. and Luminor Properties are collaborating with architecture and design firm Brooks + Scarpa on Magnolia Hill, a three-story building that will include a combination of studio and one-bedroom units above 1,575 square feet of retail and 31 parking spaces, five guest parking spaces and 28 bicycle spaces.

According to L.A. Department of City Planning records, the 21,008-square-foot development, which will see the demolition of an automotive facility, will rise on the southwest corner of Magnolia Boulevard and Colfax Avenue.
