Fashion Tenants Fill Sportsmen’s Lodge

The Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge announced Monday four new fashion retail tenants will be added to the newly redeveloped shopping center in Studio City, filling the center to capacity.

The shopping and dining area, which officially opened for business earlier this month, will soon include the first San Fernando Valley location for lifestyle and apparel brand Fred Segal, as well as sustainable apparel and accessory store, Reformation. Stevie Sister, a women’s boutique and the Great, a ready-to-wear retailer by Emily Current and Meritt Elliott, will fill out the center’s last tenant spaces. Each of the stores is expected to open in the first half of 2022.

“Each of these new tenants complement the variety of businesses located inside the Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge,” John Usdan, chief executive of property owner Midwood Investment & Development, said in a statement. “We are continuing to enhance the creative and prosperous L.A. community by bringing in the finest in upscale dining, retail, and health and wellness to our center.”

The retail center will host a ribbon cutting Dec. 9, celebrating the grand opening of the recently redeveloped property. The $100 million project, the first of two planned phases, finished in September, bringing 94,000 square feet of walkable retail, dining, fitness and communal space to the grounds at the corner of Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Ventura Boulevard.
