Hello everybody! It’s that time of year again! Jacob Mark’s annual lemonade stand for Type 1 Diabetes will take place Saturday, September 27th from 1:30 until they sell out! It will be located at the corner of Vanalden and Romero. This year the stand will be featuring lemonade and more homemade baked goods than ever, from chocolate pecan cookies to butterscotch blondies (all carb counts included!). And of course, there will be plenty of banana chocolate chip bread! Over the past four years they have raised about $4,000! This year they aim to raise more than $2,000. All proceeds will be donated to the JDRF and put towards research for a cure for Type 1 diabetes!
It is always a lot of fun and we hope you come out to their lemonade stand and support a great cause!!
