Governor Newsom Creates Hotline for Seniors

coming soon

Governor Gavin Newsom launched a statewide hotline on Tuesday, March 31 to help the state’s 5.3 million residents older than 65 connect with state and local services during the novel coronavirus outbreak.

The number for the hotline is 833.544.2374

The hotline is established in coordination with the non-profit local 211 systems (which provide services to help people find various essential resources) so that residents have a one-stop shop to answer their questions and get assistance during this crisis. Governor Newsom has also created the hotline to assuage the loneliness and anxiety that the state’s older residents may feel during the pandemic as they are self-isolating.
